Meet Dr. Colt Sicher
Dr. Colt Sicher’s story starts right here in Amarillo. Growing up in the community he now serves gave him a deep appreciation for the people and families who make this city special.
His path to orthodontics began with a life-changing experience, spending a year in the jungles of Peru working alongside a dental team. There, he saw firsthand how access to quality dental care could transform lives. Not long after, a dentist who successfully treated his own TMD symptoms inspired him to pursue dentistry himself. Dr. Sicher went on to earn a B.S. in Marketing, a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences, a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, and an M.S. in Orthodontics. Before completing his orthodontic residency, he spent four years serving as a dentist in the United States Air Force, an experience that strengthened both his clinical skills and his dedication to patient-centered care.
What Dr. Sicher loves most about orthodontics is the opportunity to connect with people. He enjoys getting to know parents and patients, hearing their stories, and guiding them through a treatment journey that truly fits their lives. For him, treatment planning for braces and aligners is like solving a puzzle: each smile presenting a unique challenge and opportunity.
His philosophy goes beyond simply straightening teeth. By considering facial balance, gum health, and overall function, Dr. Sicher aims to create results that support long-term health and confidence.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Sicher is always up for an adventure. He enjoys snowboarding, surfing, mountain biking, building projects at home, and most importantly, spending time with his wife and kids. Dr. Sicher also proudly speaks Spanish and looks forward to connecting with Amarillo’s Spanish-speaking community, helping make orthodontic care approachable and accessible for more families across the city.
